May 12 - Stephen Ministry Showcase
Our next Gathering on Tuesday, May 12, at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall of Byron United Methodist Church, promises to be interesting. We will showcase Stephen Ministers. Stephen Ministry is funded under Kaleidoscope with the purpose of training Stephen
Ministers to give individual support to those going through a life changing pattern. Sue Emmett, a personal fitness trainer, nutrition consultant and wellness coach will be our guest during the second hour. I think all of us are interested in finding out how we can

June 13 and 14 - Relay for Life
Lisa Facchin will have the Relay for Life sign up sheet and flyers for Brentwood’s event on June 13 and 14. Kaleidoscope has the booth right next to the Survivor table. Please sign up to be on the Kaleidoscope team. If you are unable to attend the Gathering but want to be part of the Kaleidoscope team, please e-mail Sue Sharp at Sharp795@yahoo.com.

May 3rd - Kaliedoscope Sunday
Please mark your calendar and plan to join us on Sunday, May 3rd at 9:30am, as we celebrate Kaleidoscope Sunday. This event, held at the Byron United Methodist Church, offers all of us the
opportunity to:
• Worship and pray together as a community
• Hear testimonials of hope and connection
• Listen to inspiring music
• Meet others living with cancer
We now have three support groups:
• Tuesday, 9am for those living with cancer or in remission
• Wednesday, 10am for those who have lost a spouse
• Thursday, 7pm continues to be a group for patients, caregivers and those who have lost a loved one
If anyone is willing to bring refreshments to the Gathering this Tuesday, please let me know:

April 25th - Kaleidoscope Breakfast
On Saturday, April 25th, the Kiwanis of Antioch will be putting on a
breakfast to benefit Kaleidoscope and to allow the community to know whatwe offer. The breakfast will be held at John Slatten’s home from 7am-10am. (address will be updated soon)
The cost is $15.00/person or $25.00/two;
$8.00/child. If you need to be somewhere else in the morning, you can purchase a breakfast to go. All tickets will be sold in advance.
Please contact Rose Marie at (925) 634-1411 to reserve tickets. This is a wonderful time to show up and meet others and share how Kaleidoscope has given you and your family support during a challenging time.
